Tree inspiration

Spring fills the air with scents and colors... Art is blossoming. Clay, sticks, yarn, beads and an old picture frame all spring to life in a fusion of fiber and nature. The works come alive as my contribution to the Tree Davis Auction in Davis, California.

Warm ups and recycled life left overs

Its so easy to just toss away your old sweater... throw out those boring, old clothes. You can buy new ones. Its all made in China and cheap... Maybe... But I like to use a little bit of imagination and transform life's leftovers into something usable and fun. These leg warmers (arm warmers for a mom) started life as a scarf . I loved the range of colors and gave them new life by creating the most adorable little warmers. With a nice fury trim it all looks fluffy and cozy. It will fit any little girl from 4-10. They're great for 'in between' temperatures. Perfect for arms and legs when you're not sure whether your child should wear a t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt, pants or shorts. And they're great for sports activities like ice skating, dance, gymnastics, etc. Colors and design vary since I use recycled clothes

My new bird passion

Over the holidays I was getting ready for the bird show and I discovered the beauty of working with fimo clay. In my birdy hair barrettes I combine it all: Clay, beads, silver wire, buttons, yarn and my passion for creativity.
